ISO45001 Safety System

Enerflow Mining Services has obtained certification of the ISO45001 Safety Management System Standard.

Through our dedicated WHS manager, we have implemented a Safety System that matches our culture and conveys our belief that safety cannot be compromised, and it is paramount always to put Safety First. We implement and control safety through a variety of means, which includes having strict onboarding inductions and pre-employment medicals. Furthermore, we also operate a KPI Safety Bonus System that rewards our employees for behaving in a safe manner.

Our Safety System outlines many policies and procedures that assist us to provide a safe working environment, below is our overarching OHS Policy.

 

Work Health and Safety Policy

Enerflow is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for the prevention of work-related injury and illness. Enerflow believes that the well-being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, is a priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf.

Enerflow have implemented a risk management approach to managing health and safety and make every effort, where reasonably practicable, to eliminate or minimise risks associated with the workplace and the work performed by workers.

In conjunction with this policy, Enerflow have developed a suite of policies, procedures, plans and resources, to form a comprehensive WHS Management System. Enerflow’s WHS Management system meets the requirements of ISO 450001:2018, relevant legislation and Australian standards.

The objectives of this policy are to, as far as reasonably practicable. 

To fulfill this commitment, Enerflow will:

  • Ensure work safety conditions are maintained
  • Establishing programs and procedures for managing workplace risks
  • Comply with our legislative obligations and industry standards
  • Ensure employees are involved in the development of risk management processes and safe working practices
  • Provide employees with the skill, capability, and resources to ensure ownership for their health and safety
  • Enhance employees’ WHS knowledge through a program of education and training
  • Commit sufficient resources to enable Enerflow to achieve these goals
  • To work towards the elimination of WHS hazards associated with operations and reduction of WHS risks
  • Strive to continuously improve safety practices
  • Implement and maintain emergency response planning
  • Help employees and interested parties understand their requirements and how their actions affect Enerflow’s work, health, and safety system
  • Monitor and review the elimination or control of potential risks
  • Through strong leadership, Enerflow will work collaboratively to find solutions to eliminate hazards, manage risk and prevent injuries so far as reasonably practicable

Top management are committed to fulfilling the objectives of this policy and accept responsibility for the health and safety of Enerflow employees and interested parties. It is the responsibility of the Management Team to ensure the development, implementation, review and improvement of the Work, Health and Safety Management System.
